Bumoni’s Banana Trees
In the lush surroundings of Assam’s Kaziranga National Park, young Bumoni’s backyard is filled with banana trees. She cherishes these trees, utilizing every part—from the leaves as biodegradable plates to the blossoms in her curry. However, her peaceful life is disrupted when a herd of wild elephants crosses the river and devours her bananas. Initially, Bumoni’s family seeks ways to deter the elephants, but Bumoni realizes that merely repelling them isn’t a solution. Instead, she devises a compassionate plan to coexist with the elephants, ensuring they have their feast without destroying her crops.
