An Umbrella for Druvi
An Umbrella for Druvi is a charming children’s picture book that follows the adventures of Druvi, a young dragonfly who has just learned to fly. As she explores the jungle, a sudden rain shower prompts her to find shelter to protect her delicate wings. Druvi tries various leaves—from the tiny Gulmohar to the star-shaped Papaya—but none provide adequate cover. Her quest leads her to discover the perfect umbrella in the form of a large Banyan leaf. The story, complemented by Malvika Tewari’s vibrant illustrations, introduces young readers to different plants and the concept of problem-solving in nature.
